Am 20.05.2020 findet ein Pythonkurs der Malta Association of Medical Physics statt:

The workshop, entitled, “Data Analysis with Python for Medical Physicists ” has the aim to provide participants the basic skills to get started with the Python programming language and to subsequently be able to perform data collection, cleaning, manipulation and analysis. One obvious application would be the performance of Diagnostic Reference Levels on large scale data.

The target audience are medical physicists with a limited background in programming / software development.

The reasoning behind this course is that the work of the medical physicist is becoming increasingly data-processing oriented. While many tools exists to facilitate and automate data analytics, it is felt that through such a course, medical physicists could wield the autonomy to perform their own analysis.
